You’ll Be in Hot Water if You Miss This Guide to Apply Foundations

Applying Foundations

A foundation should make your skin look as
smooth and clear as possible, while also
helping to even out the tone. It will then provide
the perfect base for the rest of your makeup.
Foundations come in a wide variety of colors and
types, and it is very important t  choose the right
one for your coloring and for the effect you want to achieve. For example, in summer you may want the lightest of coverings, while in winter you may prefer heavier protection.

COLOR CORRECTORS

Applied before foundation, color
correctors even out specific skin lone
problems. Blue will make a
reddish complexion look brighter
and whiter; while brightens dull
skin and helps cover dark undereye
circles; green will cool down
redness; and purple will correct
yellowish dullness and add a
healthy glow.

LIQUID FOUNDATIONS

There arc usually water-based and can be spread
onto the skin easily vising a sponge to give
lightweight coverage. Always make sure you
choose the right one for your skin type - "oil-free"
is good for oily skins, while "moisturizing"
is better for drier and normal skins, Look for
products that also provide protection against
the sun's UV rays.
