The Ultimat Guide to APPLY MASCARA
APPLYING MASCARA

How many coats you apply and whether or not
you use mascara on the bottom lashes really
depends on the style of makeup you want to
achieve. But if you are applying more than one coat, allow
the first to dry before starting the second. Always
lake mascara into the inner corners of the top
lashes, which helps to make the eyes look larger.
Step 1
if your eyelashes are particularly
straight, curl them with an eyelash
curler, This will immediately open up
the eyes and make them look bigger. But
do not press too hard - it could create
a kink in the middle of the lashes - and
remember to open up die curlers fully
before pulling them away from your eye.
Step 2
If you want to apply
mascara lo (he Bollom
lashes, do so before coating die
lop lashes. It is very important
not to put too much mascara
on the bottom lashes, so
make sure the wand is not
overloaded by wiping off
any excess on a tissue.
Step 3
Hold a magnifying
mirror slightly above your
face and position die wand
vertically straight in front of
you. Stroke down die bottom
lashes, working from the inner
lo, the outer corner of the eye.
Step 4
Looking slightly down into the mirror,
brush the wand from the root (o the
end of the uppermost top lashes.
Then work from underneath in a
diagonal direction and. finally,
with a straight movement.
Step 5
If the lashes become
stuck together or
you can sec a clump of
mascara, brush through
with an eyelash comb
or an old mascara wand
