MAGIC EYES Look 

If there’s one eyeshadow color that red-haired women should get to know, it’s green, in all its many and varied shades. Don’t worry, when combined with otherwise subtle makeup, this look can be simply captivating.

1 FOUNDATION

Apply a shimmer eyeshadow
in an intense shade of green to
the entire eyelid, extending over
the crease.

2 SHADING

Apply a glittering gold eyeshadow
over the green color, adding
emphasis with a warm brown
shade on the brow bone.

3 FINISHING

Draw a line along the lower lash
line using sea-green kohl and apply
mascara to the lashes. Balance out
the shape of the lips using a lip liner,
and then apply gloss to accentuate.

A DELICATE AFFAIR

Red-haired women often have very pale and delicate
eyelashes and eyebrows. To give them more impact you can
either have them professionally colored regularly or dye them
yourself. Be very careful to get the color right. Black and dark
brown are far too dark for the eyebrows. A cool, light shade of
brown is perfect. For the eyelashes, a blue-black, black, or
more subtle dark brown are the best options. There are
eyelash and eyebrow colors that are specifically designed
for women with blonde or red hair. These shades tend to
be called “natural,” “light brown,” and “blonde.” Be sure
to follow the instructions carefully so that the color doesn’t
irritate the sensitive skin in this area.
