A supremely relaxed everyday look: apricot blusher on the cheeks and shimmery eyes give Martina’s face a youthful vibrancy—the kind of radiant beauty that usually comes from a stroll along the beach.

 

1 CONCEAL

Use concealer to disguise any small
wrinkles and dark shadows around
the eyes. Apply in a radial direction
below the eye and then blend in
gently using your finger.

2 HIGHLIGHT

Apply a nude-colored, shimmery
eyeshadow to the entire eyelid,
extending above the crease, and
blend in gently toward the outer
corner of the eye.

3 EMPHASIZE

Fill in the eyebrows using a pale
brown eyebrow powder. Define
the outer corner of the eye using
a darker color, and apply plenty
of mascara to the eyelashes.

4 FINISHING TOUCHES

Apply apricot-colored blusher
generously to the cheekbones. Dab a
bit of lip balm onto your lips and then
color them in using a lip liner pencil
in a pale rosewood shade.

SOFT IS MORE YOUTHFUL

Softer lines for the eyebrows and eyes have a rejuvenating
effect and make any wrinkles less noticeable. So, for the
eyebrows, use a gently pigmented eyebrow powder or dot
individual hairs with an eyebrow pencil rather than drawing
a continuous line. For daytime makeup, use a soft kohl pencil
around your eyes instead of a strong eyeliner; the effect can
be softened even further by smudging with a foam applicator
or cotton swab.
